Located in the heart of the yacht-building industry in Enkhuizen, VMG Yachtbuilders constructs motor and sailing yachts up to 35 meters of the highest quality. In addition to fully custom-built yachts, strong brands like Salut, Chaser, Agile, Puffin, and Garlington are crafted here. Many exceptional yachts also find their way to VMG for refits or restorations.

We are looking for new colleagues. Due to the large number of new projects in both custom new builds and refits, as well as building for external brands, we are looking for a full-time finishing mechanic.

What do we expect from you as a finishing mechanic?
- You work meticulously and carefully;
- You have at least a vocational education level;
- You preferably have experience in carpentry, finishing, and/or assembly;
- You want to work in yacht building (or already do);
- You’re a hands-on person.
What will you do?
As a finishing mechanic, you will work on everything related to finishing our yachts. You ensure the correct placement of deck fittings, bollards, cleats, and rubbing strakes. In addition, you install hatches, doors, and windows, but you also install consoles and dashboards. You work daily on the most beautiful motor, sailing yachts, and tenders in the world. All in all, a very diverse job! And in a pleasant working environment with great colleagues, who wouldn’t want that?
